Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lkota platform ("Lkota", "the Service"), operated by Lkota LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.
1. The service
Lkota is a software tool that helps junk-car and towing businesses manage deals, vehicle records, and internal document packages. Lkota generates internal records and documents to support your workflow. It is a record-keeping and document-generation tool and is not a substitute for legal, tax, DMV, or compliance advice.
2. Accounts and company responsibility
Each company is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters, for keeping its login credentials secure, and for the activity of its users. You are responsible for ensuring that the people you invite to your company account are authorized to act on the company's behalf. You must keep your contact details current so we can reach you about your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and not to misuse it, attempt to access data belonging to other companies, interfere with its operation, or upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the platform or other users.
4. Billing
Paid features — including annual activation, VIN lookups, full vehicle records, and wallet top-ups — are described in your billing dashboard and in our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charges as shown at checkout.
5. Documents and compliance
Documents produced by Lkota are internal deal records and packages. Depending on your state and business workflow, additional DMV, title, junk, salvage, lien, tax, or compliance documents may be required. You are responsible for confirming the documents required for your business with your state authority, DMV, attorney, or compliance advisor. See our Document Disclaimer.
6. Availability and "as is"
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated documents will satisfy any particular legal or regulatory requirement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lkota LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Your existing records and documents remain viewable to you even if your wallet balance is zero or your annual access is inactive.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
