This Refund Policy explains how charges work on Lkota (operated by Lkota LLC) and when refunds may or may not apply. It is written in plain language for our business customers and is not legal advice.
Annual activation
Company activation is an annual fee that unlocks full use of the platform for your company. Because activation immediately enables paid functionality, the activation fee is generally non-refundable once your company has been activated.
VIN lookups
VIN-only checks are charged per lookup from your wallet. Because a VIN check delivers a result at the moment it runs, completed VIN lookups are considered used and are generally non-refundable.
Full record charges
Creating a full vehicle record, and upgrading a VIN-only check to a full record, are charged per action from your wallet. Once the record or upgrade has been created, the charge is considered used and is generally non-refundable.
Wallet top-ups
Wallet top-ups add prepaid balance to your account (minimum top-up applies). Unused wallet balance stays in your account for future charges. If you believe a top-up was made in error, contact us and we will review it.
Digital services
Lkota provides digital services that are delivered instantly. As a general rule, digital services and per-action charges may be non-refundable after they have been used. We review refund requests in good faith and on a case-by-case basis, and we will always correct genuine billing errors on our side.
